Wedding Cakes:
Thank you for considering Sweet Chloe’s for your wedding cake needs. It is a great honor for us to create your wedding cake and it is our hope that our services will exceed your expectations.
Our wedding cakes are made from the freshest and finest ingredients and take a great deal of time to create. It is necessary then, that we take a limited number of orders per weekend to ensure that each Bride has our promise that she will be our main focus.
It is advisable to set up a consultation and bridal tasting at least 6 months prior to the date of your wedding. When you have decided that Sweet Chloe’s will be creating your wedding cake, a non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to hold the date for your wedding. This deposit will go toward the cost of your cake.
Wedding Cake Pricing:
The price of our wedding cakes start at $4.25 per serving, with the exception of the premium cake flavors, which cost $4.75 per serving.
The serving size is based on the bakery standard for a slice of wedding cake. Each slice is: 1” x 2” x 4” tall. Each tier consists of four layers of cake with three layers of filling. The number of tiers your cake will have will be determined by the number of guest servings that you need.
Please keep in mind that the time involved and the complexity of your cake design will determine the total cost of your cake.

Have Cake, Will Travel!
Sweet Chloe’s is a home based business with a separate and fully licensed bakery kitchen. We do not have a storefront location and only bake and create cakes as they are ordered. In order to accommodate Bridal tastings and meetings, Christy, a.k.a.: “The Cake Lady,” comes to your home or to a mutual location, depending on the distance between our locations.
Is there a cost associated with my bridal tasting?
There will be a $25 cake tasting fee to cover the cost of the freshly baked cake samples that you keep. This $25 fee will be refunded and go toward the purchase of your bridal cake, if you chose to have Sweet Chloe’s create your wedding cake.
What can I expect during my bridal tasting?
During your bridal tasting and consultation, you will be able to browse wedding cake ideas, share your thoughts, discuss cake details, determine costs and the best part, taste our cakes! Feel free to bring pictures of ideas, sketches, swatches of color, etc. to your cake tasting, as well as your cake topper, if you have one.
How much time should I allow for my bridal tasting?
Please allow yourself enough time to ask all your questions and discuss your ideas. Your wedding is a very special time and we don’t want you to feel rushed. You can usually expect 45 minutes to an hour.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes of course. The more the merrier!
What flavors of cake will I be trying?
Please look at our cake, filling and frosting flavors that we offer found at the top of the page. Choose two cake flavors and up to two different filling flavors per cake. The recommended icing is butter cream, as most people prefer the taste over fondant.
Please provide your flavor choices at least a week before your scheduled tasting.
Am I obligated to use Sweet Chloe’ because I scheduled, and attended a bridal tasting?
There is no pressure so please feel free to take your time deciding and to try other cake bakeries. Please keep in mind however, that our weddings are booked on a first come first served basis and we take a limited number of weddings per weekend. When you have decided to go with Sweet Chloe’s, simply contact us and you will be asked to provide a $100.00 non-refundable deposit to save your date with us.
Groom’s Cakes:
Groom’s cakes were traditionally a gift to the Groom from the Bride and were chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. However, these days a lot of brides are incorporating their Groom’s special interests into the theme of the cake. Some popular ideas for groom cakes include Sports Teams cakes, College Alma Mater, Hobby themed cakes such as fishing, or an elegant “Tuxedo” cake. Share your ideas with us!
